This year AutoCon 2014 was a huge success and I am very happy that our photographer TJ Watkinson was right there capturing all the action as it went down. Celebrating their 5th year Anniversary returning to LA at the historical Fairplex, the fellas at Autocon have done a great job in bringing out some of the best of the best that the west coast have to offer. We hope you guys enjoy some of the moments captured from this event and please note that the photos have been broken down into several pages so be sure to click through them all.
Special thank you to photographer Brock Hanawahine for providing coverage from this event in Hawaii and to all photographers on board and supporting JDM-Culture, with out everyone’s continuous support this all would not be possible and most of all to the fans and enthusiasts that are subscribed to our work and always checking up on us for the latest in the car game.
This past weekend on the island of Hawaii enthusiasts gathered at the Aloha Stadium in hopes of what should be a pretty chill day to relax and just meet new people and show off their flashy rides. Of coarse mother nature had other plans in store and turned this show into a washed out event. Despite the on going rain our photographer Elaine Domingo still managed to get as much coverage as she possibly could, please enjoy these photos by Elaine and stay tuned for more coverage from Brock Hanawahine later today.
Hosted at the Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, GA this has been a two day event where enthusiasts came out by the hundreds to meet and greet each other and also enjoy the spring weather. From the looks of things this was a very good turn out and I’m very happy to see everyone coming out and showing their support to the car culture. Sit back and enjoy these photos taken by our very own Brandon Davis and be sure to check back for part 2 of IA.
Now as I’m sure virtually every car enthusiast will be aware, JDM fan or otherwise, the Toyota Supra is one of the great 2 door RWD coupes to come from the land of the rising sun. In stock trim it is a supremely capable and fast car with the MK IV probably being held in the highest regard amongst fans and road testers alike. The base platform with the now legendary 2JZ engine is also one of the most versatile for modifying with a breadth of ability few cars can match: drifting, drag racing, time attack, daily drivers and, as with the red monster here, ridiculously quick street builds.
