First I would like to start off by saying thankyou to everyone that is tuned in and subscribed to JDM-Culture. Special thanks goes out to our photographer Yomar for capturing this event and bringing coverage from Orlando Fl. My goal is to showcase this lifestyle that we’re all living from all across the nation for everyone to see what others are doing around the world. We all like to see new things and gain insights on all of the endless possibilities of what next to do to our rides. We admire the works of others while trying to make our own stand out among the crowd, to be the first to do it and to make an impression on others.
The most highly anticipated event of the year has made it’s way to the east coast at the New Jersey Convention & Expo center, Wekfest! Please keep coming back and check on the site as I will be dropping more pictures within the next couple of days.
First i would like to give a big shout out to our photographer Alex Balagurak for this coverage.
Words by Alex – The second annual meet “Chicks Whips & Kicks” was held in Leola P.A on Sunday 8/18/13 despite the rainy weather many gathered together in hopes of a fun chilled day to bring out the whips and relax. Finally it is here the weekend for all the Honda fanatics “Honda Day” in English Town N.J at Raceway Park where thousands gathered to spectate and witness the best of the best from all across the east coast take turns down the quarter mile. This fun day event is not just for the pros but also the newbies and first timers get a few passes down the track as well to see what kind of times they can through up on the boards.
Meet spongebob, one of the meanest, cleanest and well put together Civic in the East, Built and not bought you can just look at it and tell alot of time and money was invested. I can hear it already, “but it’s only a civic!, No traction!, Fwd what a waste of power.” and the list goes on as enthusiasts battle and rant at each other on what is the better option. When all is said and done it all boils down to our own preference and likes and this is what keeps things interesting no one person is alike.
Hondas are heavy on the import market and it seems to me that alot of clean cars around today turns out to have a California tag on them. Lets not forget about other areas across the U.S but our friends from the West Coast knows how to take an old plain canvas and turn it into something to stare at, we all can look and admire at a fellow tuners work of art regardless of what ever car he or she may drive and besides who wouldn’t want to cruise around with the top off.
